7.1 InfoArchive (opentext.com)

InfoArchive is an archive application. It implements the full archive workflow with the essential user roles, operations and admin interface. It also provides flexible, web-based end-user interface to access the information via search.

The search only works on the structured data; it does not support full-text search on unstructured content.

It provides both table and SIP archiving out of the box, although SIP archiving is preferred. For the latter one, all user access features can be configured via GUI, including:

• search forms
• search definition
• result rendering

Table archiving ingests unaggregated data. Search forms and result rendering configuration happens - as well as for SIP - using a web GUI, but search definitions must be written directly in XQuery.

Preparing packages for ingestion is not the scope of the application.
